This 6-point unit offers an introduction to the
principles of essential human food and
nutrition, with public health applications.
Applied topics include nutrition for
different life stages; popular diets;
nutrition and chronic disease; Indigenous
nutrition; global nutrition issues; food
supply regulation; nutrition for athletic
performance; and public health nutrition
interventions.
We offer a range of 5-day full-time out-of-semester
units for course credit or professional
development at several points throughout
the year. This allows you to fit a whole semester's teaching attendance in a week. These are flexible, convenient education opportunities for a broad
